Hey, everybody! It’s Niky, from The House on Silverado here to show you how to upcycle an old side table.

Materials Used:

How To Update a Vintage Side Table:

Step 1: Clean and prepare the surface

First, I cleaned the whole piece thoroughly with Dixie Belle’s Terra Clean. Make sure to get rid of all dirt and grime!

Step 2: Paint two coats of clay paint, allowing time to dry in between layers

Second, I gave the table 2 coats of Prairie Dawn Terra Clay Paint. Give each coat time to dry before continuing to the next step.

Step 3: Apply furniture transfers

Next, I cut different pieces off the transfer to fit on the tabletop. To apply the transfer, remove the plastic backing. You then use the tool inside the Transfer tube to rub the transfer onto the piece.

Step 4: Seal and protect your final project

Finally, to protect the finished product, I applied Terra Seal. Allow at least 48 hours of dry time before using the table.
