Materials:
- Marigold Terra Clay Paint
- Malachite Terra Clay Paint
- Premium Chip Brush
- Slick Stick
- Mist Spray Bottle
- Clear Coat in Satin
- Terra Seal
- Best Dang Wax in Brown
- Gilding Wax in Copper
How To:
Step 1:
Clean mason jar and apply a coat of Slick Stick. (Allow to dry for 24 hours or more).
Step 2:
I painted half the jar with Marigold and the other half with Malachite. I stippled the colors together to get the blended illusion.
Step 3:
Optional: You can mist the surface of the mason jar to help with the blending as well.
Step 4:
To seal the paint, apply 2 coats of Clear Coat. You can apply Terra Seal instead as it would do the same thing.
Step 5:
You can add Best Dang Wax to give the illusion of an aged look.
Step 6:
Add a bit of shine with Copper Gilding Wax along the rims and edges.
