Hello, everyone! Lee Ann from Creative Moments here, and today I want to show you how to do an easy and pretty IKEA Lamp “hack” – upcycling and glamming decor to fit your aesthetic.

How To Paint an IKEA Lamp:
Step 1: Prep the base of the lamp
First, I removed the cord and post and wiped clean the base. I also lightly sanded the base to scuff up the wood surface, wiping off the dust after I finished sanding.
Step 2: Select & use your paint color
Then, I used my flat small Dixie Belle Synthetic Brush to brush on the classic Anchor Silk Mineral Paint.
Step 3: Seal paint for longevity
(Optional) You can seal the piece with Dixie Belle Clear Coat in Satin, and update the bulb of the lamp to fit the ambience of the room it will be situated in.
