The first step for my project was to give everything a really good cleaning with White Lightning.
This product is perfect for getting rid of dirt, grime, and grease – especially on antique or vintage furniture.

Next, I decided to paint the farmhouse chairs in two contrasting colors just to do something different.
Farmhouse style is typically the stark, clean white distressed with wood tones, but I wanted to mix it up a bit.
I painted in the chairs in Barn Red and Daisy.
Then, the base of the table was Drop Cloth and sealed with Gator Hide. Drop Cloth is the #1 Dixie Belle color and I completely understand why!
