How To:

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been asked – what colors should I use? My response is always the same and couldn’t be more straightforward and simple.

Color is a personal preference. What I might like could be a color combo you hate or vice-versa. Follow your heart and your own instincts and use colors YOU love!

Cosmic Roses was my inspiration for this makeover. I went with my gut on this one and pulled in a variety of greens from this floral transfer.

I used Slick Stick to avoid sanding and BOSS to cover any bleedthrough.

I started with this gorgeous Palmetto Green on the legs and bottom.

Then added this Kudzo Green.

And finally, this Limeade – a cheerful bright yellow/green.

Once I had my three base colors down, the second coat was all about blending. If you’d like to learn my blending technique you can check it out on my Youtube here.
