How to Create a Floral Dresser

I saw this dresser as a blank canvas, so I knew this would be the perfect piece to try out a transfer.

Step One:

I first cleaned this piece with White Lightning. Then applied BOSS in White.

Step Two:

After this, I put some random sections of Kudzu and Vintage Duck Egg to peek through once distressed.

Step Three:

The whole piece was painted with Drop Cloth and sealed with Satin Clear Coat.

Step Four:

The top wood was too beautiful to cover up. I sanded it back and stained it with Voodoo Gel Stain in Up In Smoke. I then sealed it with Gator Hide.

Step Five:

I used a furniture transfer to give this piece the perfect spring feeling. I’m in love!
