I’m in love with the finished look of this “Aquamarine” dresser!
Step One:
The piece was first cleaned with White Lightning.
Step Two:
I then primed with BOSS in Clear to protect my finish from bleed thru.
Step Three:
Next, I painted two coats of Dixie Belle Paint in Fluff for my base.
Step Four:
I then lightly blended some Dixie Belle Paint in Stormy Seas into the details, switching back and forth between my Stormy Seas premium chip brush (one of my favorites for blending!) and my Fluff mini synthetic brush (my new favorite base coat brush!) to create a shadowed look.
Step Five:
I duplicated this look across all drawers and allowed to dry. Once dry, I let mine dry overnight, I ran Dixie Belle’s finishing pad over the top to create a super smooth finish.
Step Six:
I cleaned once more with a lightly dampened rag to remove any dust particles.
Step Seven:
I decided on Easy Peasy Spray Wax for it’s simplicity, especially in the deep details. But also because it does not alter the look of your finish, all the while still adding an extra layer of protection!
All done!
