I have been learning that creative wriiting can keep your audience where they want to keep reading your story.
I am a family doctor and an immigrant from middle east currently working in an ice cream shop in Seattle hoping to one day be able to go back to school to be able to use my knowledge and skills for the community.
I found out about this scholarship through fastweb scholarship and I am interested in applying for it because I am in need of financial assistance for paying for my online courses for college. Your support and kindness are greatly appreciated. Thank You,
Shanta Brown
In my, honest opinion, I believe being creative, while you problem solve a problem, can be a good thing because it shows one has great characteristic and interpersonal skills about being able to handle and get through a puzzling situation. About being able to problem solve with creativity!
I thoroughly believe that creativity is more important than intelligence and talent. After all almost every successful person in recent history has reached their high level of success using their imagination and creative problem solving rather than their intelligence and skills in a specific field. I’m sure everyone Alexander Grand Bell knew told him that speaking to someone across the world was impossible. His overall intelligence probably told him that it was impossible as well. But his creativity and work ethic is what led to the creation of the telephone. I also believe that Harriett Tubman was told by everyone she knew that trying to escape to the north without getting caught was nearly impossible. Her own intelligence probably told her that it was not the brightest idea. But with creativity and genius problem solving she not only escaped to the north using the Underground Railroad. But also conducted the Underground Railroad in order to free hundreds of other slaves as well. What Alexander Grand bell and Harriet Tubman both taught me is that one’s creativity is the most valuable piece to their probability of success.
According to my opinion, I will first identify my goals and once I have identified the goals then about the problems I will face achieving that goals I can collect information about it and develop a clear understanding of it and formulate solution with clear understanding in my mind.
Thanks you so much!
Creativity is important in problem solving because this allows people to open their minds to different paths of achieving success in a task. This gives people the ability to understand that many ways can lead to the right way, and this helps your mind to think more too. I believe this can also be great in improving one’s skillset, and tough situations and challenges can be overcome.
Creativity is all about thinking outside the box. In school and work, we are constantly being placed figurative challenge boxes. Part of working around these boxes is being able to see them. Where most people cannot see their own boxes, the truly creative people are those who can see them. When I use creativity in problem-solving, I look for the box that others cannot see, then use what I have to open up new possibilitys.
Creativity is a core part of humanity. Creativity resides in the right hemisphere of the brain. Without it, many key issues would be nearly impossible to solve. Creativity is what gives you different perspectives and ideas, it is what can create a unique viewpoint that maybe has been overlooked. In problem-solving we use this to come up with new ideas, ideas that can help save humanity. If we didn’t have the creativity to come up with different forms of energy we would be struggling to sustain life on this planet. Creativity is what fuels humanity, we were born with this skill and it will most certainly never leave us.
Solve problems isn’t easy but the best solution is teams work to find solutions is benefit to each problem as team. No one can’t solve big problems but can solve small problem themselves.
Creativity is a way of thinking outside the box, it is also as the use of the imagination or original ideas, especially in the production of an artistic work. It is the core of how your brain works and without it you have nothing. Creativity brings a lot of things into existence you never know what happens if you don’t have an idea to what you want to do.
In my opinion, creativity is all about how you express yourself, from imaginative thinking and motivation, these aspects can be used in problem-solving.
Imaginative thinking is a way of building up thoughts and ideas to make a creation. For example, When making a birthday cake you get all sorts of ideas and ways of making a cake. You want it to be three layers but you dwell on how each layer will be. In this process creativity comes with building blocks. What should I do first? How will I design each layer? Will this cake come out as imagined? We ask ourselves these questions when making choices. People have these thoughts when problem solving throughout life. When a creative mind opens up to different options and ideas decisions become easier to make.
There are many problems in the world that have been solved by following a set guideline or path. Those types of problems are easy to solve. Why? Because someone has already done so and has shown us the way. Now, what happens when we are faced with a brand new problem, or an issue with many complexities and alterations? We must now use our creativity to work around these, often times, unseen obstacles. There are no guidelines to adhere to, or steps for us to follow. We are totally in the dark for the time being, contemplating a solution. Some people may give up. The dilemma is “hopeless” or “impossible to overcome”, they may say. But I believe there is always a way—and that has been proven countless times. If we think outside of what is in front of us or what surrounds us, the answer will be made clear. Here’s an example: my friend and I wanted to get together for lunch sometime. The problem we faced was managing our incredibly busy work schedules. After thinking the situation over, I arrived at a solution. Since we worked at the same place, we could just go on break at the same time. That would be our lunch. It wasn’t the most desirable solution, but it worked for the both of us.
Every problem that has ever been solved took someone changing their perspective, using their imagination, or considering possible factors outside of what was presented. There has never been an issue—when it was first discovered—that has come with a step-by-step manual explaining the method(s) necessary to solving it. The only tool we have to achieve a successful outcome is a mind—a person—willing to transcend all boundaries and consider all options, whether realistic or idealistic and/or tangible as opposed to intangible. Creativity is the key to success.

How do you use creativity in problem-solving? First, I would gather all the data from a customer, their wants and needs. I would make sure I listen to the customer very carefully. I will tell the customer to give me a couple of days to put something together. I would start by going over all of the data I collected from the customer. And then I would picture the customer in mind from the visit how they were dressed. I would try to come up with creative ideas upon the data and what styles they would like.
I use creativity in problem solving by dissecting all aspects and looking at them independently. Sometimes answers to problems can be obvious, while other times the answer to the problem is also a cause of the problem. Answering questions are not always an A to B process. Sometimes it is necessary to think out of order. I analyze the aspects of the problem that I understand most and then from there I try to make sense of the pieces as I put them together. Creativity is also needed in problem solving when attempting to better under the original creator of the problem. I ask myself, “Who is this person, where are they from, what do they really want”. Odd are many of these answers will contribute to the big answer to the question. I believe the person who asks the questions no one else is talking about is the most likely to be successful. That way of thinking is innovative and nourishes new ideas to form. I try to stay an open minded person and always remember to think out every scenario before making my decision.
Everyone was born with some kind of creativity, it can be shown through arts, problem-solving, ideas, or even communication. It is one’s way of displaying their uniqueness. As kids, we all grew up watching people and the media display an extraordinary imagination and skills.
How adults are so calm dealing with their problems? But in reality are all stressed out and adulting. Also how the media is always coming up with new content. From the cartoons and shows that are watched daily to the spectacular headline that will captures everyone’s attention. People are constantly coming up with new ideas and spreading their creativity.
How do you use creativity in problem-solving? Everyone has their own way of solving problems; some many approach it logically, gather the details and make a safe approach, while others can completely take a way, it may be risky but can gain more. For me, I tend to be an overthinker, but it helps me plan my strategy. I have had a part time job in the food industry for about 4 years now and I have faced and dealt with people of all sorts, and it has helped me strengthen my people skills and problem-solving. Just like how I work, that is how I solve my problems, “work smarter, not harder.” For example, a math problem, there are multiple ways of solving it leading to a solution. Like a math problem, the main goal to any problem is to take some kind of action and come up with a solution. My creativity to solving a problem is pleasing everyone and myself at the end no matter how I approach it, it is the end results that I think of, everything in between and along the way is growth and a bonus.
A problem does not ever have just one solution. Yes, there may be one that is more obvious, but sometimes the best solutions are the ones that come from out of the blue. Creativity means having different perspectives and approaches, completely new ways of viewing the world around you. When solving a problem, the most efficient solution is the most desired, however, there are greater solutions that require a bit more time but generate the same outcome, if not, a more advantageous one. For example, when I organize my shelves, I want everything to be able to fit appropriately in the space available. If I get stuck, I just pause and look at it from a different angle (sometimes quite literally). When taking a look at my shelf from a different perspective, I can effectively develop a solution that will benefit me to a greater extent, such as realizing I can stack two boxes to make room in the sunlight for my plant. By reasoning with myself, I come to the conclusion that I do not need to get to what’s in my boxes as often as I need to water my plant, so I make a new change for a better outcome. From forming a solution, a favorable outcome is aimed to improve a certain aspect of the situation rather than multiple aspects; but the way I view it is if I can establish a solution that produces a variety of assets, then that is the one I use. “More bang for your buck”, as they say, is the basis of my problem solving process, as it works in the facet of efficiency and a beneficial outcome. My solutions are always ones that I never thought I would come up with at that moment, which means the creativity wheels in my head are turning. Creativity broadens your horizons and opens you up new, endless possibilities. So whenever you come across a situation in need of some problem solving, get those creativity wheels moving and trust your ideas!

Now that’s a pretty ridiculous question if you ask me. Using creativity to solve a problem is pretty standard. Whether it’s an equation or an obstacle course, as long as you get the right answer or get through the course, your creative thinking got you there. Even the most intelligent person in the room could still fail at something that is so simple, but the most creative person or people, will almost always prosper. So, how do you use creativity to solve a problem? You solve it YOUR way. Easy.
In my life, I have encountered many obstacles, and I know I am not the only one that does. Part of what helped me to get through them was creative thoughts on problem-solving. Typically, when someone thinks of creativity, they think that means you must be an artist, however that is not always true. Creative thinking to help someone problem solve means they have the ability to think “outside the box” and not limiting themselves and their ability to the circumstance they are in. Sometimes, when we encounter a problem, we think that there is only a certain way to solve it when in reality, there is more than one can count. Every human being, even twins, are different from one another, in looks, characteristics, and attitudes, so with that, we all solve things differently. Maintaining who you are in solving your problem is what helps you get from being in a problemed situation to having a solution to change it. For me, I’ll admit, sometimes I feel or get stuck trying to solve a problem, but I recenter myself and focus on my goals. I have learned over the years that the problems we go through are necessary because they provide us a skill, ability, or anything that we may need later on in our lives. So for my problem-solving, I try not to see problems that are going to stop me, but rather obstacles for me to overcome, and then I do exactly that.
Creativity in problem solving is about using the resources available to you. When solving a practical problem, it is not natural to look for creative solutions, but I have found that the creative ones are often much more effective.
For example, this summer, my friends and I have come to know Ms. Nina. Ms. Nina is a single mom of three children; she works in the Waffle House near our high school. We met her one Wednesday night after church, and she told us her story. She was recently diagnosed with cancer, she lost her home to a fire, and she is working day and night to try and provide for her family. We were touched by her positivity and her outlook despite her horrible situation, and we desperately wanted to help. We talked about each of us giving money to help her, but what little we could give did not seem like enough.
Our creative resource became social media: Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook. We each posted Mrs. Nina’s story to all of our social media platforms with a link to a venmo for people to send whatever they could. We started texting our family, friends, coworkers, and teammates asking for people to give to Ms. Nina. Within a week, we had raised just short of twenty five hundred dollars to give to Ms. Nina. We went to see her the following Tuesday with the money we had raised, and she couldn’t help but cry and thank us.
We meet at Waffle House often to eat and talk with Ms. Nina. Just a few weeks ago, we texted her, and she told us that she was not at work and that she had been in the hospital. We called her and she explained that she had been to the emergency room and hospitalized for low blood count. When she got back to her apartment the following week, all her things had been moved outside. She was late on her payments, and she had been evicted.
Again, we wanted to do what we could to help; our creative resource became a non-profit organization that had seen the story on social media. Our close friend Mattie Kaitlyn volunteers with this organization, and she was able to better explain Ms. Nina’s story to the people who could truly help. The organization is called Shower Power Mississippi, and they have been able to get Ms. Nina’s family moved into an apartment and her rent paid for the next few months.
I have been blessed to be a part in getting Ms. Nina back on her feet. It took community, consistency, and creativity to do for Mr. Nina what we did, and I don’t believe that it is over yet. It is not very hard to find ways to help people in need, and we pray that once Ms. Nina is back on her feet, we can find someone else to be a blessing to in a time of need.
A creative mind see’s beyond social division. in color as others remain limited to black and white parameters limited and stifling to a mind not meant to follow ordinary suit. approaching situations, solving.problems, seeing a.situation from an.outside view. these are gifts for these creative humans to be mediators and temples of moral profoundness.
I use creative thinking to help me with my work and most of my daily activities. I am currently working as a wild land firefighter. I am put in tough decisions everyday. I have to use creative thinking to provide safety to myself, my team, and community. The other day we had a fire on a ranch that owned horses. The barn and the house were close to each other and the fire was pushing the edge of the house. The house was little and was insured so to get creative we slowed down the fire on the houses edge and built a line around the horses barn to protect the living animals. Because of this decision the house didn’t burn down and all the horses were kept safe. This is just one use of creative thinking in helping the community and my team.
There are numerous issues on the planet that have been settled by following a set rule or way. Those kinds of issues are not difficult to settle. Why? Since somebody has effectively done as such and has shown us the way. Presently, what happens when we are confronted with a pristine issue, or an issue with numerous intricacies and adjustments? We should now utilize our imagination to work around these, as a rule, inconspicuous impediments. There are no rules to hold fast to, or ventures for us to follow. We are absolutely in obscurity for now, examining an answer. A few group might surrender. The problem is “miserable” or “difficult to survive”, they might say. Yet, I accept there is consistently a way—and that has been demonstrated on many occasions. On the off chance that we consider outside what is before us for sure encompasses us, the appropriate response will be clarified. Here’s a model: my companion and I needed to get together for lunch at some point. The issue we confronted was dealing with our unquestionably bustling plans for getting work done. In the wake of reasoning the circumstance over, I showed up at an answer. Since we worked at a similar spot, we could simply go on break simultaneously. That would be our lunch. It wasn’t the best arrangement, yet it worked for the two of us.
Each issue that has at any point been settled took somebody adjusting their viewpoint, utilizing their creative mind, or considering potential factors outside of what was introduced. There has never been an issue—when it was first found—that has accompanied a bit by bit manual clarifying the method(s) important to tackling it. The lone instrument we need to accomplish an effective result is a brain—an individual—willing to rise above all limits and think about all alternatives, regardless of whether sensible or optimistic as well as unmistakable instead of elusive. Imagination is the way to progress.
Creativity is a way for me to get through anything. Whether it’s school, working, personal issues, or even socially. It comes in handy. How? Well, it can generate innovation, think of new ideas, and really help think outside the box. I’ve been trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up recently since I’ve graduated, and that answer is in another galaxy. I have simply no clue as to what I’m passionate about when it comes to occupations. Instead, I try to think of a better question, “Who do I want to become?” Well now that gives me ideas. What I mean by that is, having that creative thinking unleashes new possibilities. I’m no longer constrained to specific ends, I can make my own path. But I just have to find out do I have what it takes or do I want to go through this path I’m thinking of. Right now, I attend a local community college taking different general education courses to help me find out where am I going to find those strengths that’ll help me with my future path. Which classes may hint me towards my passion into who I want to be in the future. They’re all a leap of faith at this point, but I won’t stop from trying new ideas or ways to figure out who I am. In all, creativity unlocks your mind to search for new opportunities and generates ideas that’ll help you shape anything. Whether it’s the future, a project, or even relationships! Creativity is worthwhile when problem solving. Which is why I’m here right now. I could really use the scholarship since my sister and I are trying to help our parents come up with enough funds to pay for our college tuition. I thought of scholarships, but I never considered them in high school because I was too scared to try. Too afraid of being left disappointed. But theres never, ever been harm in trying, and I hope this works out for three students in the future. This scholarship seemed creative to me because I’ve never replied to a comment to be given a chance of a lifetime. Whether I’m drawn or not, I hope everyone gets the chance to explain how significant creativity is to problem solving in their lives! Thank you for your time, and thank you Fastweb for presenting me this “creative” opportunity.
Creativity is defined as “the use of the imagination or original ideas.” For example, Thomas Edison created the first functioning incandescent lamp by studying the work of those before him and applying his own original ideas. This shows that the only way to improve is to not do the exact same thing as others, but instead to come up with a new plan or idea and apply it to any product, problem or situation. Another way that creativity can be applied is when doing a math problem as some students may not be able to do a problem the traditional way and eventually come up with their own method to solve equations. I’ve actually done that in my calculus class. When we learned about trigonometric equations, I would help myself remember some of them by making rhymes or assigning them with silly names and emotions to keep them in my brain for the test. Once I did that, I was able to ace every trigonometry quiz that came my way.
The mark of true creativity, in any instance, not just problem solving, is to understand the situation and still be able to utilize previous experiences, and/or take a chance and try different approaches. I will typically find a fail-safe plan from experience, then move through alternative options mentally to see which would yield the, potentially, best results. Reading and writing helps to keep the mind open.
In my life, I have encountered many obstacles, and I know at a certain point in our lives we have those problems. The first, thing it helped me to get through them was creative thoughts on problem-solving. Every human being, even twins, is different from one another, in looks, characteristics, and attitudes, so with that, we all solve things differently. I have learned over the years that the problems we go through are necessary because they provide us a skill, ability, or anything that we may need later on in our lives. So for my problem-solving, I try not to see problems that are going to stop me, but rather obstacles for me to overcome, and then I do exactly that.
The question that needs to be answered is, “How do you use creativity in problem solving”? For me it’s several different ways that I may want to solve different problems, of course I would not handle every problem the same way. I analyze the problem and find different ways to approach the problem. Many people are different in how they like to solve their problems but for me I solve them differently than others.
For most of my life I have dealt with many different problems but each one I look back upon and draw a better conclusion for the next time something may happen like this. Depending on the problem I always let myself be separated from others and other noises that may occur. This is where my creativity comes into play because most people will say that you should take problems head on and focus on what needs to be done. But for me I feel that is the wrong way to approach many problems. For example, when you are dealing with a math problem you have steps you need to take to get the answer, you don’t just type in the problem to the calculator to get the solution. So, I constantly repeat that same example in my head and believe in different scenarios that may occur and analyze every one of them. This helps me come up with the best solution in my head for what the problem is at that exact moment. I also think of a different example which is Dr. Strange from the Avengers, I like to see myself as him because of how he could just think of different examples in his head and see the future for each one. I feel that is where my biggest creativity comes from.
I believe everyone should come up with different ways to solve problems and not believe in only one way to solve each problem they may have. All problems are not going to have the same solution or outcome so always think of something different that may happen and go from there. Creativity comes from within you which helps with anything in life that you may have, it just depends on how you put it together with different things in your life to have better solutions.
When problem solving, creativity is very important. It is important because it helps me come up with new and interesting ways to solve things.
Creative problem solving is a mental process of searching for an original solution to a problem. As a child of a hard working single mother, curiosity and creativity has always been encouraged. The creativity skills I have developed growing up has enabled strong problem solving skills. The creative problem solving skills have taught me to look at problems from all angles and perspectives, instead of looking at approaches that were more linear.
he definition of creativity Is “the tendency to generate or recognize ideas, alternatives or possibilities that may be useful in solving problems”. Ever since I was really little I’ve had a really big imagination. From playing outside to playing indoors me and my brothers were always doing something here with Legos, toys and anything we could get our hands on that we could play with. I started learning how to solve problems when I was really little because when I would play I would pretend that I was either exploring the West or surviving in the woods and different things along that line. Creativity would help me solve these problems by giving me many different ideas and opportunities to explore. Having a mind that was creative ever since I was little allows me to be able to look at a problem and think of new ways to get around it and not go with the flow. If someone ever used a certain way to solve a problem I would always try to solve it another way and try to find unique ways to solve it. Imagine you are painting on a canvas and you make a mistake. How do you try to fix that? Do you add a little line here, a little curvy line here or just slap a mountain in the middle of the picture! Well I use that kind of creativity in my problems. Do I just make a straight line through it? Do I try to curve my way around it or do I try to just face it head on and not care about the consequences? I’ll take those kinds of pictures in my head and decide how I would like to solve that problem. What I’ll do is try to make the problem fun and no matter what kind of problem it is there’s always a bright side to look at. If your car gets a flat tire on the side of the road why not try and make that a brighter time than it is. Maybe you could think you were on the NASCAR team and you had to change the tire in record time or you were stuck on the side of the road and had to make it to your baseball game and you have to use your hand and eye coordination to fix it. That’s just a few ways that I use creativity to solve problems.
