How to Paint an Antique Tallboy

Dixie Belle Paint Products:

• Mason Dixie Gray
• Manatee Gray
• Gravel Road
• Clear Coat in Satin
• Best Dang Wax in Black
• Sterling Silver Gilding Wax

Step One:

This antique chest of drawers has been hand painted in a base of Mason Dixie Gray with layers of Manatee Gray and Gravel Road blended in for shading.

Step Two:

Next, I used their Best Dang Wax in Black to glaze all the grooves. To learn more about applying wax, click here!

Step Three:

Sterling Silver Gilding Wax was used to highlight all the trim work for an extra wow factor!

Step Four:

I also used Dixie Belle’s Clear Coat in Satin for extra durability and shine.

I think this lady is going to steal the show in her new home.
