It’s soft muted tones keep this piece elegant. However, the imbalance of the stripes add a touch of whimsy and keep it from being too serious.
6 Drawer Dresser
This classy dresser was first painted with Fluff, Driftwood and Clear Coat Flat. Read more here!
This whimsical dresser is still elegant! It is certainly possible to have both! The addition of stripes.. done in tone-on-tone so to be more subtle..adds a sense of playfulness to an otherwise serious piece of furniture.
Headboard and Nightstand Set
We have no words for this amazing bedroom set. These pieces were first painted with Fluff, Drop Cloth, Sand Bar. Then, Clear Coat Flat was added to finish it off.
Whimsical furniture does not have to be covered in bright and colorful paints and patterns. You can love whimsy and still keep it neutral!
Side Table
This accent table was painted with Sand Bar, Drop Cloth, Fluff and Clear Coat Flat.
The use of harlequin pattern always keeps the piece from being too serious. It is an easy way to add personality and whimsy to any room on anything and I use it often in my design work! It remains subtle here by using a tone-on-tone design.
9 Drawer Dresser
You cant go wrong with a metallic silver dresser! This piece was painted with Yankee Blue and Fluff. We’re in love with this finished project!
For the body of this piece I chose Yankee Blue, which is a nice blue/gray color for the undercoat and topped this with a creamy ivory called Fluff. I then used silver leafing for the drawer fronts.
Custom Headboard
This adorable headboard was painted with Dixie Belle Paint in Caviar, Drop Cloth and Pink Champagne. Clear Coat Satin was also used to create this amazing shabby chic style. Learn more here!
