How to Paint Your Kitchen Cabinets

Are your kitchen cabinets in need of an update? Use Dixie Belle Paint! Its easy peasy!

One of our lovely brand ambassadors, Victoria, of Simply Today Life took her kitchen cabinets from drab to fab!

Victoria is amazing at budget-friendly DIY projects. In addition to painting her kitchen cabinets, she also created a DIY kitchen island with Dixie Belle Paint!

For the cabinets, Victoria first cleaned with White Lightning. Then, she used Dixie Belle Paint color, Cotton. After painting, she sealed everything with Gator Hide.

“I knew with our darker kitchen cabinets I would have to do more than one coat of paint. One of the great things about Dixie Belle Paint’s chalk paint is that its very thick and covers the cabinets well. I decided on two coats for the cabinets.”
