Spring has sprung!

I chose to paint the piece in Dixie Belle Paint’s Rebel Yellow. It is a soft buttery yellow that is very easy on the eyes! You can see in the photo below the comparison of the two colors….Rebel Yellow vs. Daisy…..both by Dixie Belle Paint.

I decided to repaint the entire piece in the softer yellow. The brighter yellow was just too FUN….for the soft and cozy room it would be featured in.

Repainting was easy and I was happy to do it! It only took one coat to sufficiently cover the brighter yellow….some light distressing for accent….and then a nice easy application of Easy Peasy Spray Wax to seal the finish.

This piece was first painted a bright yellow, but the client wanted some a little bit softer.
