We love painting decorative books with Dixie Belle Paint! 

So does Do Dodson Designs! She updated these adorable books with various Dixie Belle Paint products. The first book was painted with Flamingo and Blueberry. The second book was painted with Bunker Hill Blue and The Gulf.

Best Dang Wax in Clear, Dixie Dirt in Charcoal and Copper Gilding Wax were also used and we’re in love with the results.

“After the paint had dried, I applied a coat of clear wax over all the painted surfaces. Immediately after waxing, I used a clean chip brush and lightly applied to edges around the book to create a dirty used look. I ain’t even kidding, I giggled a little inside. I feel like a kid making mud pies again.”
