How to Make a Farmhouse Sign

Have you used Iron Patina paint yet?

Do Dodson Designs used it to make this amazing farmhouse market sign out of a piece of wood. Get this she magically makes the wood look like metal!

She used Dixie Belle Paint in CottonCaviar and Chocolate as well as Dixie Mud in Black, Iron Patina Paint and Green Patina Spray.

Apply the Iron Patina Paint in the areas that you want the rust to show. I used a sponge to apply the Iron Patina Paint and just dabbed it on in spots. Immediately while the patina paint was still wet, I sprayed over the wet paint with the green patina spray. I made sure my board was lying flat when I sprayed the activator. This allowed the activator to pool in some areas and that’s totally what I wanted.

This process is easy peasy! Read the full tutorial here!
