It’s no secret that I am a HUGEEEEE fan of color and all things boho decor related. I took this cute little plain buffet and turned it into a boho lovers dream!
Dixie Belle Paint Products:
How To:
The first step to this process is to make sure you prep your piece. Cleaning it really well with their White Lightning cleaner is my favorite way to prep a piece.
Next, I used my Dixie Belle Flat Medium Synthetic Brush to put Blueberry on the bottom half of the buffet. I only needed one coat because the coverage is phenomenal.
After I painted the bottom in Blueberry I painted the top in Sea Glass. I picked these two colors because they are perfect for boho decor, compliment each other nicely, and it’s spring so why not?
Next, I added vinegar to the paint. Crazy I know! So when you add vinegar to paint or spray vinegar on wet paint you will often times get a spider like effect, it’s cool. Trust me.
This part was a learning experience in itself for me, first off, I recommend you use a cheap spray bottle. Also make sure your vinegar, water and paint is super diluted so it doesn’t clog your sprayer.
I added Farmhouse Green for this part and sprayed it right at that line where the Blueberry and Sea Glass meet. I also took a paintbrush with the Farmhouse Green and flicked it a little bit to get paint splatters.
