How to Use Easter Colors

Happy Easter Sunday!

Today should be filled with early morning church service, a hearty family meal, Easter egg hunts, and goodies left by our favorite bunny! Springtime colors are pastel and perfect for this hoppy holiday.

Colors like the cheerful Daisy and the lovely Lucky Lavender get their time to shine. Check out some of our favorite Dixie Belle Paint colors that will be wonderful for your painted furniture spring projects.

Pair your Daisy colored painted piece with custom daisy drawings like this vanity created by Tina at Picalillys Special Moments. The second step in this project was painting flowers on the sides of the mirrors for an added touch.

Pink Champagne

This pink piece was created by Ashley Branson Gardner and first painted with Dixie Belle Paint in Pink Champagne. Next, Best Dang Wax in Black was applied. Lastly, she completed this feminine design with Clear Coat in Satin used to decoupage the glass with floral tissue paper. So gorgeous and girly!

The Gulf

This buffet table is painted in Dixie Belle Paint color The Gulf, created by Roy’s Timeless Treasures. A fabulous piece like this will work great in a seaside cottage or rustic farmhouse!

Swing in style! And by style we mean Dixie Belle Paint in Limeade. A porch swing with a pop of color is just what your spring needs. This adorable piece was painted by Dustin Van Fleet and he did not disappoint. With a bright swinging bench like this, everyone will be flocking to your front porch.

While we spotlighted these four colors, there are tons of other Dixie Belle Paint options that will work great for spring painted furniture projects. We cant wait to see what you create!

In addition to Easter, we cant ignore that today is April Fools Day too! No worries, we aren’t trying to trick you. While were sure others will be pranking and playing today, we’ve got one joke and one joke only. Why did the paintbrush retire?

It had a stroke!
