Hi creative family! It’s Denise from Salvaged Inspirations! Today I’m sharing curb-shopped painted tables! If you think you need a ton of time to transform a piece, here’s the step-by-step of this two-hour makeover! Amazing how quickly one paint color can update your furniture!

Materials List:

Curb Shopped Side Tables Before

How To Paint Side Tables in Two Hours:

Step 1: Clean furniture thoroughly with White Lightning cleaner

First, I cleaned them up with White Lightning and then gave them a scuff sand with my orbital sander and 120 grit sandpaper.

Step 2: Use Cactus SILK All-In-One Paint for a base primer and top coat in one paint

After wiping off the dust with a tack cloth, I painted the first coat of Cactus Silk Paint.

Step 3: Apply second coat of self-leveling SILK Mineral Paint

Once it dried, I sanded the first coat with 220 grit sandpaper and applied a second coat. This paint is self-leveling so sanding isn’t really needed, but I’m in the habit of knocking down paints or primers between coats.
