How to Paint with Flea Market Decor

Did you know we partnered with Flea Market Decor to create a limited edition paint line?

This stunning collection of colors was made for vintage lovers!

I used a few colors from the line to create this vintage vibe coffee bar! This piece could also be perfect in the entryway of your home.

I started by cleaning this piece really well with White Lightning. Once it was clean I rinsed the piece with just plain old water. Then I applied a coat of BOSS in white.

Before:

Once it was dry I gave it two coats of Aged Ivory for a base coat on the whole piece.

Dixie Belle Paint Products:

This piece is painted with the Flea Market Decor colors: Aged Ivory, Birchwood, Reclaimed Barn, Golden Years, and Patina.

To start, I knew I wanted an orange because the transfer has some orange in it. I mixed Reclaimed Barn and Golden Years to get a rich orange tone.

I blended this in the middle of the piece and then faded into the legs a bit.

Then, I mixed and blended the paint colors Golden Years, Patina, and Birchwood until I created a beautiful Patina.

Check out my Facebook live videos on this piece! Click here to watch the undertone video and click here for the patina video.

Once everything dried, I applied the transfer and added some Van Dyke Brown Glaze. I put it on with a car wash sponge which gave the top a unique look.

Sure wish there was a dealer that offers classes , we have a wonderful dealer in Jasper Country SC ,, but no classes offered , πŸ˜ͺπŸ˜ͺπŸ˜ͺπŸ˜ͺπŸ˜ͺ

Why is it not sold in Canada? Y'all can't keep that good stuff to yourselves forever, ya know! LOL

I found a dealer in another province, and I can't wait to get my hands on some. Sooo excited!
