Hi everyone, Denise from Salvaged Inspirations here!

I painted this dresser in Dixie Belle’s BRAND NEW Dusty Blue and paired it with a Floral transfer.

Wait till you see how beautifully and seamlessly they pair together!

How to Paint with Dusty Blue

How To:

I started with this dated ReStore dresser. It’s a Knechtel so it’s a really heavy-well-made piece.

After I primed and sanded, I painted the body of this dresser in DB NEW Dusty Blue (available at your local retailers and online Aug 19th!) and painted the top in Fluff blending the two colors on the top drawers.

If you’re interested in the technique I use — here’s How To Blend Paint On Furniture including a video.

The Dusty Blue and floral transfer pair so beautifully and seamlessly together, it looks like these flowers were painted on!

To get this girl off the ground, we added a reinforced piece of wood on the underside of this dresser and then attached the 4 Bun Feet.

For the finishing touches on this dresser, I added white wax to the body  and used Gator Hide for a super durable finish on the top.

Head over to Salvaged Inspirations here for more details on this painted piece!
